How care works for children
This is the question parents ask first, so here is the straight answer. Children in the household are covered for unlimited 24/7 virtual care, including pediatric virtual care for kids under 13. Local in-person Presence primary care is for ages 13 and older; when a younger child needs hands-on care, the provider refers to participating pediatric partners and tells you exactly where to go.
Under 13
Pediatric virtual care any hour for fevers, ears, rashes, stomach bugs and questions, plus referral to participating pediatric partners when a child needs to be examined.
Teens 13+
Full access to virtual care and in-person Presence primary care, including sports physicals, acne, mental-health check-ins and preventive visits.
Parents
The same provider relationship as any adult member, with your own history, medications and preventive care tracked over time.

Who counts as my household?
The people living at your address — a couple, a parent and children, or a full family. Virtual + Local In-Office Care covers your household; Family Unlimited covers a family of up to five, with each additional child after five at $29/month.
Are the two included in-person visits per person or per family?
Per household, shared — not two per person. Additional in-person visits are $99 at the member-only rate, and Family Unlimited removes per-visit charges for medically appropriate local care.
Can my 6-year-old be seen in person at Presence?
Local in-person Presence primary care is for ages 13 and older. Younger children have unlimited pediatric virtual care and are referred to participating pediatric partners when hands-on care is needed.
Is membership insurance for my family?
No. This is a healthcare membership, not health insurance, and it does not cover hospital, emergency or specialty care. Many families pair Presence with a high-deductible plan for large costs.
Do we each pay the $49 onboarding fee?
The one-time $49 clinical onboarding and medical history review applies per person before that person's first in-person visit. Virtual care does not require it.
What happens when school demands a physical this week?
