Questions people ask before calling
Can I be seen today?
Virtual visits are available 24/7. In-office visits require an appointment, and available times are confirmed when you schedule.
Do I need insurance?
No. Presence care is paid directly. Nothing is billed to insurance, so the price you are quoted is the price of the visit.
Can a virtual visit prescribe medication?
A provider can prescribe when it is clinically appropriate for what you describe. Some concerns require an in-person exam, and controlled substances are not prescribed through these visits.
Is this urgent care?
No. It is primary care and virtual care that is usually available quickly, which is why many people use it instead of urgent care for everyday needs. See telehealth vs urgent care.
What if the visit is not the right fit?
We will say so. If you need in-person evaluation, imaging, or emergency care, we tell you where to go rather than treating something we should not.
