What actually happens at urgent care on a Saturday in DFW

Is this the same as an urgent care clinic?
No. Urgent care handles injuries and procedures that need hands-on treatment. Presence handles illness, infections, ongoing conditions and medical questions — with unlimited access and continuity a clinic cannot offer.
Can you prescribe antibiotics?
Where clinically appropriate, yes. A licensed provider makes that decision based on your symptoms and history; we do not guarantee any specific prescription.
What if you decide I need to be seen in person?
You are told straight away. Fort Worth-area members can often be seen locally; otherwise you are directed to the right level of care.
Is there a per-visit fee?
No copay or per-visit fee for included virtual care. Local in-office visits are $129 each on the $19.99 plan; the $29.99 plan includes two a year, then $99 each.
