Travelling, or away from home for a while

The rule is simple: the state you are physically in during the visit decides who may see you, not the state on your driving licence or your billing address. A licence follows the patient's location.

So a Texas patient in Texas can be seen. A Texas patient spending a month in another state generally cannot be seen by a Texas-only clinician while they are there — even though nothing about their history has changed.

A practice can reach all of it virtually while having a physical presence in one metro — and pretending otherwise is how healthcare marketing loses people's trust. So here is the plain version: our clinicians are Texas providers, we are rooted in the Fort Worth side of DFW, and eligible patients anywhere in Texas can have a virtual visit.

What travels statewide is the visit itself, the record, refill evaluations, documentation after an evaluation, lab and imaging orders, and follow-up. What does not travel is a Presence exam room. How access differs across the state

This describes access patterns, not a Presence location in each region. There is no Presence clinic outside the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
